November - The #12

The #12. I started playing soccer again this summer in a coed league after a 12-year hiatus. It really surprised me, once I started to play again, how much I had missed the sport - the adrenaline rush, competition, team spirit, oranges at half-time. When I didn't play in college and others knew me as a "dancer," I felt misrepresented. Now after 12 years, I understand - I'm a soccer girl at my core. ~Sincerely, A
